This guide will help you activate or set up a trial license for Intella, allowing you to use the software for a limited time. Please note that these instructions are not for activating dongles. If you need assistance with a dongle, please contact our support team for specific instructions.
Getting Started with Your Free Trial
- Visit Our Website: Go to Vound Software.
- Download the Trial: Click on the 'Download Free Trial' button located at the top right corner of the page.
- Enjoy Your Trial: You will receive a full-featured 14-day trial of Intella at no cost. No license installation is required during this period.
Troubleshooting During Your Trial
- If you encounter issues, such as a message indicating that a license cannot be found or has expired, please submit a support ticket. Our team is here to help!
If the Trial Doesn't Work
If the trial version does not function on your system, our support team can assist you with two options for licensing the software:
- Cloud-Based License: Our support team will provide instructions for using a cloud-based license. You can gain access to a server license. For detailed instructions, visit our Remote Licensing Trials page.
- License File Activation: If you prefer to activate a license file, follow the steps below.
Activating Your License File
Once you request trial support, you will receive an activation file in the form of a .v2c file. This file is specific to the computer for which it was created and cannot be used on any other system. The file will be named in the format: CompanyName-Pro-<UniqueIdentifier>.v2c.
Steps to Apply the Intella Trial License
Save the .v2c File: Download the
.v2cfile and save it to your desktop or another easily accessible location.-
Access the Check-In Page:
- Open your web browser and enter the following URL:
http://localhost:1947/int/checkin.html

Select the .v2c File:
- Click on the 'Select File' button.
- Navigate to the location where you saved the
.v2cfile (e.g., Downloads) and select it.

Apply the License:
- Click on the 'Apply File' button to activate your Intella trial license.
- Click on the 'Apply File' button to activate your Intella trial license.
Verifying Your Activation
To confirm that your trial has been successfully activated:
- Open Intella using the desktop icon.
- The Intella Case Manager will launch. If it indicates that you are using the version of Intella you are trialing (e.g., Intella Viewer, Intella Professional), your activation was successful!
