This document helps IT teams install Intella Connect and Intella Investigator correctly. As an administrator you may not use the product yourself, but you need to know how Intella needs to be deployed in your infrastructure. This document has a checklist of things to do prior to installation and after the installation. Some items may not apply to your organization, depending on which features you use.
This guide helps you with the technical side of the program and keeps your system running well.
Before installing Intella Connect or Intella Investigator on your network, consider:
- The same or separate machines for Connect/Investigator and Node
- The installation type: standalone application or Windows service
- The features you need (SSO, LDAP, SSL, 2FA, etc.)
- The infrastructure type: on premise, virtualized, Hyper-V, or cloud based?
