Which version of my product am I running?

    You may be asked by our support team for the version that you are running. This is important information because if you are running an older version, some issues may have already been fixed in a later version of your product. Here are the methods for finding you version. 

    Intella Desktop (Professional, 10GB, 100GB, 250GB)
    When you launch the program, the Case Manager window opens. You can find the product name and version number in the top-left corner.


    When you open any case, you can also find your version by clicking on Help > About Intella Professional. 


    In About Intella window go to System Info tab. Here you can locate the version number with the revision (build) identifier. The support team may ask for this information to troubleshoot your issue.


    You can also find this number in the case-main log file.
    Go to the case's logs folder (e.g., C:\Cases\My Case\logs) and open a case-main log file in a text editor like Notepad. Search for the string 'Opening case with:' to jump to the section that logs the product and version used to open the case.



    Connect/Investigator
    At the top right of the Connect/Investigator admin dashboard which you will see just after logging in, click on the down arrow on your avatar (by default it's first letter for your name) and then 'About Intella Connect/Investigator' option.
     

    This will open the About page where the product, version number and revision (build) identifier can be found. 


    If you can't start Connect/Investigator or you can't access the Connect/Investigator admin console, you can look in one of the case-main log files, similarly to Intella Desktop. Please check the section above about Intella Desktop for more information.

    When you open the program, Click on Help > About located in top-left corner. 


    This option will open the About window which shows the version and revision (build) identifier.
