Which version of my product am I running?

You may be asked by our support team for the version which you are running. This is important information because if you are running an older version, some issues may have already been fixed in a later version of your product. Here are the methods for finding you version.

Intella
When you open your case, the case name, product and version are displayed in the top left corner.

You can also find your version by clicking on Help > About, then clicking on the System Info tab of the About window. This shows the version with the revision. The support team may ask for this revision number to troubleshoot your issue.

If for some reason you can not open your case to find the version number, you can find this number in the case-main log file. Go to your logs folder for the case and open a case-main log file in a text editor like NotePad.exe. Search the file for 'Opening case with:' and it will jump to the section where it logs which product and version is used to open the case.

Connect/Investigator
At the top right of the Connect/Investigator admin dashboard, click on the down arrow on the user's name and click on the 'About Intella Connect/Investigator' option. This will open the About page where the product and version can be found.

If you cant start Connect/Investigator, or you cant access the Connect/Investigator admin console, you can look in one of the intella-main log files. These are stored here:
C:\Users\[ACCOUNTUSEDTOSTARTCONNECT]\AppData\Roaming\(Intella Connect or Investigator version)\logs
Open the log file in a text editor like NotePad.exe. Search the file for 'Starting server:' and it will jump to the section where it logs which product and version is used to start Connect or Investigator.

W4
Click on Help > About. This will open the About window. This shows the version with the revision.

If you can not start W4 for any reason, look in one of the w4-main case files for the line 'Opening case with: That will shown the product and version used to open the case.
