You may have been asked to generate a license fingerprint or key from a specific computer for licensing purposes. This is typically for setting up a trial license on a specific computer. If you have been asked to provide this information, you can use the following steps to extract this information in a C2V file.
Before we get started:
- Make sure the latest version of Intella or Connect is installed on your computer.
- Make sure no Vound dongles are connected to the computer.
- Start the "haspupdate.exe" program. You can find "haspupdate.exe" in the bin folder where Intella or Connect are installed. The default installation folder is: C:\Program Files\Vound\Intella[version number]\bin
- Do the following once the HASP program has started:i) First, choose the "Collect Status Information" tab at the top.
ii) Then, pick the ‘Install of new protection key’ option at the bottom.
iii) Finally, click the ‘Collect Information’ button.
- You will be asked to save a C2V file to your computer. Once done, send the C2V file to the Vound representative who requested it.
