Does Intella support proximity searching?

Yes, Intella does support proximity
searching. Still, we see a lot of customers who use the wrong search
syntax when conducting proximity searches in Intella. Presumably this is
because they are use to the syntax used in other tools, which can be different from Intella's syntax.
A proximity search is a search syntax designed to find items based on words within a specified maximum distance of each other in the item's text. The proximity search syntax has two search terms encased in double quotes followed by the number of words that the terms must be within.
To create more efficient searches, users can group keywords with the OR operator or break down large proximity search strings into shorter ones placed in a keyword list.
