Training options

While Intella is an easy and intuitive tool to start using, we highly recommend training for anyone who will rely on the results gained from using it. This is particularly important for cases such as legal reviews, eDiscovery, consulting cases, and investigations. Training ensures that you and your team can use the tool efficiently, obtain the correct results, and use it consistently.

Undertaking training has several benefits, including reducing ramp-up time, improving productivity, ensuring ROI in the tool and the people who use it, and preventing wasting time on trial and error. Training covers areas that are not included under your maintenance agreement (MA) and technical support, and it helps to avoid issues that may take several days to identify if users don't have a concept of the basic usage or setup.

It is not uncommon for customers not to take training initially, intending to work it out as they go. However, training should be completed before using the product for commercial use. Undertaking training ensures knowledge of how to use the tool correctly and efficiently, and while each forensic and eDiscovery software tool is different, training ensures that users are adept at using the specific tool that they will be using.

It is also important to note that support is only for technical issues with the software. The usage of the tool and its features are covered in the user manuals and training courses, and consultants may be engaged for specific case-related issues as they will have full access to the case and can give the best advice.

While the user manual is the first place to look if you need to know how to use a feature, not attending training may mean you do not have a detailed knowledge of specific features or settings. This can make it hard for users to successfully search the manual, and we recommend getting accustomed to the user manual and how to search it correctly during training. Frantically undertaking training while under a deadline to deliver results causes stress and the potential for further mistakes.

At Vound, we offer various training options for our products, such as on-demand web-based training, live online classes, and instructor-led on-site training. To learn more about our training programs, please visit the training page at the following link:
