The Devices tab is a new feature introduced in Intella 3.0, designed to make mobile device data easier to identify and analyze within your case. As smartphones continue to play an increasingly important role in investigations, this dedicated view helps investigators quickly locate and understand phone-related evidence across all evidence sources.
The Devices tab automatically detects and lists all phones found in your case, whether they were added as individual extractions or identified within other file formats. Selecting a device displays detailed information about that phone and allows you to refine your review by searching for keywords, filtering by date ranges, and exploring detected applications and device metadata.
You can also drill down into specific apps to see the types of data they contain. For example, selecting Skype will reveal additional tabs for items such as chat messages, calls, contacts, and other app-specific artifacts, making it easier to focus on the most relevant evidence.
