Downloading the installers and activating your dongle

Please note that all dongles are shipped to our customers without activation. To use your product, you need to activate your dongle by downloading the license onto it. We keep track of the shipping process and once the dongle is delivered, one of our representatives will contact you to confirm. After that, we will proceed with the activation process, and our support team will email you with the activation instructions. If you have received your dongle and have not received a confirmation, please email our support team to confirm receipt and we will begin the activation process.

When you receive the package, you will find the following items:
  • Your license dongle: This can be either red or green, and it's essential for activation.
  • A USB flash drive: This contains important documentation, including a Welcome to Vound document. Additionally, there's a text file with a download link for your product's installer.


Steps to Activate Your Dongle
Before you begin, make sure that the system you are installing the product on has access to the internet to complete the activation process. If your system does not have internet access, you will need to perform an offline or manual activation. Follow the steps on this page for the offline activation process: https://www.vound-software.com/dongle-update
  • To obtain the installer for your product, you can either utilize the link provided in the installer text file or navigate to vound-software.com/software-downloads to download it.
  • Make sure that you are logged onto the system as the administrator or with an account that has administrator permissions to the entire system. 
  • Install the product onto your system. 
  • For a hassle-free installation experience, we suggest that you refer to the product's getting started video guides. These tutorials comprise crucial information pertaining to both installation and usage. You may locate these videos at the following URL: https://www.vound-software.com/support#videos
  • After successfully installing the product on your system, ensure that the dongle is connected to your system and launch the Dongle Manager application. You can locate this program in the same folder where you installed the product - for example C:\Program Files\Vound\Intella 2.6.1\
  • The Dongle Manager program should display an entry for your dongle. 
  • To update your dongle, click on the 'Check for Updates' button.



  • After completing the activation process, click on the 'Show Products' button to view your license
